Robin is warm, funny, genuinely curious about people, and knows how to put you at ease.
She’s been a counselor and life coach for 20 years. She's always been "the person taking photos," and she became a professional photographer when she realized it’s a creative and tangible way to show people their best selves. She’s an artist and nature lover who sings in a gospel choir, paints, and spends lots of time in her garden and California's many incredible landscapes.
Moments of connection and beauty like... Swimming in warm ocean water during a gorgeous sunset, a conversation so rich or hilarious I lose track of time, getting lost in the creative flow, a movie that lifts me up or touches me deeply, sitting in nature soaking up the raw beauty, music that makes me swoon, moments of connection where both people feel seen and met, being cozy at home with the perfect cup of tea.
My favorite place in the Bay Area is Mt. Tam. I love that we live in an urban area where abundant nature is so close by and well preserved. I’ve been hiking on Mt Tam for 15 years and I continually find new hikes that sweep me away with breathtaking nature and epic views.
My body. Everything else is secondary. Though a very close second is my cat.
I get them for my house every week and they make me incredibly happy!
I love systems of self-knowledge and the Enneagram is particularly rich. It’s been a game changer in my own self-awareness and all my relationships.
The woman who made this site gave every Bay Area nature lover a gigantic gift. I've discovered so many great hikes through it that I’d never know about otherwise.
Have you seen Adele’s '17 Grammy speech? That’s exactly what I’d say about Beyoncé: She’s the musician of my lifetime who's done so much to show me what an empowered woman and artist can be.
My favorite place to go when I want to leave the city and get a heavy dose of soaking, nature, beauty, and calm.
Journaling helps me make sense of my life and know what I know deep-down. I fill journals up like nobody’s business.
